Phoenix Contact has developed the Firewall assistant on the new generation of mGuard. This allows a user to commission a system while the router learns of its network. Once the commissioning is brought a level that is happy with all parties, the mGuard is then brought out of learning mode to display all the network traffic in a simple table. All you need to worry about then is allowing what is needed and blocking what is not.
