Roadmapping is a powerful strategic planning technique that is integral to creating and delivering strategic plans. Its flexibility allows for application across a broad spectrum of scopes, including sectors, organisations, individual business units, or specific products and processes.

This session will introduce you to the IfM’s Fast-start Technology Roadmapping approach, demonstrating how it can help your organisation to align R&D and commercial objectives, formulate strategy and identify its implementation pathways.

You will engage in dynamic discussions about the application of roadmapping or other strategic planning techniques within your organisation. You will learn about the collaborative nature of roadmapping and how it facilitates strategic alignment and dialogue across different functions within your organisation.

This interactive workshop is free to attend but places are limited to 25 due to the format of the sessions.

Each IfM Masterclass is organised by IfM Engage at the IfM, University of Cambridge, and is free to attend as part of the Smart Factory Expo at Smart Manufacturing and Engineering Week. The IfM’s mission is to manufacture a better world through the impact of our research, education and practice activities in the manufacturing community.
