Whilst studying chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, Cleo has spent her time advocating for globally responsible engineering, something which she has been able to keep up through her work as Chapter President and in her wider role as Student Strategy Champion for EWB-UK. Cleo's passion for engineering has seen her presenting to many students and, in 2021, she was named one of the top 10 female undergraduates of the year in the UK. As elected student representative for her cohort, she also actively uses her voice to speak about bettering engineering education, with a view to adapt courses to deliver future engineers who put sustainability at the heart of design.
