Elizabeth is a champion for the manufacturing sector, passionately changing perceptions, raising awareness. Advocate for women, always authentic, enthusing, empowering and encouraging others. Previously operating at Director level for many years, as MD of manufacturing awarding bodies she created opportunities for both businesses and individuals in training and qualifications. She was the instigator of the Industry Apprentice Council (IAC), the first collective voice for Apprentices which makes representation to Govt and business groups. Elizabeth was the first woman director of the metals sector trade association BMPCA representing member companies such as Siemens and Danieli across the UK. Currently sitting on the Education and Skills and Training group for Metals Council. Elizabeth is an executive mentor for Skills4 a leading provider of EDI to the manufacturing sector, providing training and consultancy supporting companies to improve their performance. Elizabeth's portfolio encompasses mentorship for some of the senior people in the manufacturing sector. She is Freeman of the City of London and an Assistant with the Tin Plate alias Wire workers Livery company
