Emma & Sonal are an established jobshare, each with 20 years' policy, strategy and delivery experience within the UK government and beyond. They have previously worked with the steel and offshore wind industries, led on international engagement for the business department, and led teams spanning research & innovation, aid programme delivery, energy efficiency, fuel poverty, better regulation, equalities and immigration policy. 'They are currently head of Innovation & Programmes - Advanced Manufacturing at the Department for Business and Trade, heading up the team that delivers the Made Smarter Adoption programme, supporting SMEs to adopt digital technologies.
