Scam Warnings

Important Information for Exhibitors

Fake Data

Please be aware that you may be targeted by database management and data list companies offering contact details of those who have registered for Manufacturing & Engineering Week, as we have noticed a spike in the volume and frequency of spam emails trying to sell and offer our data.

We do not sell our data, so if you receive any communications about Manufacturing & Engineering Week data, please assume they are fake and ignore them.  Should you have any queries about anything you receive, please contact your Account Manager who will be happy to advise.

Latest fake data email scam companies we are aware of, and for you to totally avoid:

  • accessqualityleadz.com
  • attractvisitorsdata.biz
  • exploretradeshows.com
  • leadsaccounts.com
  • thedatavenue.com

Fake Accommodation Services

Please be vigilant if approached by any company or service. We have been made aware of other accommodation companies that may be aggressively pursuing you, or your company, to book your guest rooms through their company at supposedly significant discounts. Reservations made through these agencies or companies will be at your own risk.

**Always check our list of official contractors in the Exhibitor Manual or contact us if you are unsure of the legitimacy of a third party.**
